VoiceLog — Privacy
Summary
VoiceLog runs Whisper transcription on your device. Your audio recordings and their transcripts never leave your phone. There is no account, no server upload, no third-party analytics.
What we collect
- On-device only: audio recordings, their transcripts, and AI-generated reflection summaries. All stored locally in the app's sandboxed storage.
- Microphone permission: required to record. Audio is processed locally and discarded after transcription unless you choose to keep it.
What we don't do
- No audio is uploaded to any server.
- No transcripts are uploaded.
- No account, no login, no email.
- No advertising or analytics SDKs.
AI reflection
If on-device AI (Gemini Nano) is available on your device, reflections are generated locally. On devices without on-device AI, reflection features are disabled.
Your rights
Everything lives on your device. Uninstall to delete. Export available in-app for plain-text backup.
Children's privacy
VoiceLog is not directed at children under 13.
