Sutts — Privacy
Summary
Sutts stores your smoking-log data locally on your device. Premium AI features send anonymized usage prompts to Google's Gemini API. No personal identifiers, no account, no third-party tracking.
What we collect
- On-device, never uploaded: cigarettes logged, timestamps, optional notes, goals you set.
- Sent to Google Gemini API (Premium only, opt-in): aggregated, anonymized prompts about your patterns — e.g. "user smoked 8 times today, peak at 10pm" — to generate coaching responses. Your raw log is never sent.
- Crash reports (optional, system-level): Google Play sends anonymous crash data if you've opted in at the OS level. We do not configure any additional crash reporting.
What we don't do
- No account creation. No email. No login.
- No advertising SDKs.
- No analytics SDKs (Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.).
- No selling or sharing data with third parties.
Third-party services
The only third-party service Sutts communicates with is Google's Gemini API, and only when Premium AI features are enabled. Gemini's data handling is governed by Google's API privacy terms.
Your rights
All your data lives in the app's local database on your device. Uninstall the app to delete it. We have nothing on a server to delete because we don't store anything on a server.
Children's privacy
Sutts is not directed at children under 13. Do not use this app if you are under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
